Bringing Classical Arts to the Beauty of the Southwest
Scottsdale Atelier is 501c3 a nonprofit founded to bring the enduring impact of classical art and instruction to the beauty of the Southwest, a region rich in history and the arts. The structured and intensive drawing and painting program dive deeply into the techniques and trainings of the old masters. Students study from master copies, anatomy, and life to learn the skills needed to bridge the gap between great works of the past and the future, all the while taking advantage of the thriving arts community in Old Town Scottsdale.
Located in the Cultural Hub of Arizona
Scottsdale Atelier is walking distance to over 50 art galleries, 2 art museums, the Scottsdale Center for Performing Arts, and more than 100 restaurants, making it one of the few schools outside of Europe that students can truly immerse themselves in the arts and culture.
Capitalizing on this proximity, and a vision to grow the cultural richness of the Scottsdale and Phoenix metropolitan area, students enrich their education through Scottsdale Atelier’s expanding partnerships with the local and national art community.
